Job Overview:

As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in C, you will be responsible for supporting core financial functions and ensuring smooth system operations related to accounting, vendor management, and system upgrades. This role is critical for maintaining operational continuity and financial accuracy across the business unit.

Key Responsibilities:

Resolution of MEC (Month-End Close) Issues

• Ensure timely resolution of MEC issues for accurate month-end closings.
• Support management reporting by maintaining data accuracy during critical phases.

Vendor Invoicing and Payments Issues

• Resolve vendor payment-related issues to maintain good liquidity and vendor relationships.
• Play a key role in financial operations by addressing invoicing delays and discrepancies.

Accounting and Asset Issues

• Resolve accounting and asset-related issues to support statutory compliance and reporting.
• Ensure financial integrity through precise and timely accounting practices.

Testing of Change Requests

• Collaborate with DBAs to test patches and change requests during database or application upgrades.
• Maintain system stability and data integrity throughout the update cycles.

Configuration Support

• Configure GFS values for year-end reorganization to align financial systems with business goals.
• Handle Business-As-Usual (BAU) configuration requests efficiently to support daily operations.
